The Golf Club at Equinox, is a Resort, 18 hole golf course located in Manchester, Vermont.
The course first opened in 1926. The course was designed by Walter Travis. This course was renovated by Rees Jones in 1991. Many fairways were raised to take care of ground moisture.
Enjoy crisp mountain air and spectacular views of the surrounding mountains at this par-71, 6423-yard Vermont gem of a course, which boasts challenging play on every fairway, bunker and green.
The course sits on hilly terrain and is nestled in a valley between two mountain ranges. The finishing holes are best known for having a strong prevailing wind that can cause players to select the wrong club. Tee times can be reserved through the resort when reservations for accommodations are made.

A challenging Course which tests the skill of a Resort Golfer with long holes, short holes, up and down hill holes and a hole than requires a shot over a public road. Enjoyable with an excellent pro staff. Would play it again.

The beautiful setting, the large number of very interesting and challenging golf holes, the beautiful green sites, and the general condition of the golf course make this a very appealing golf course. Though I'm not real wild about the changes to the course that took place in the early '90s, I understand their purpose, and they don't hide the fact that this is a terrific, old Travis layout.
